The Village Hall

This year began with us slowly emerging from the COVID pandemic.  Whilst COVID  has been utterly devastating for many families and businesses, for our Village Hall and many across the land, the grants given to us by the Government have been a life-saver.  I do thank our treasurer for making the first approach but subsequently the grants have been paid automatically.

As a result of the funds made available, we have been able to implement some projects that we would only have been able to dream of.

Firstly we replaced the fencing around the Bowls Green. Our thanks go to Richard Cooke for doing all the labour and painting
the fence.  We have also set aside funds for a new lawnmower for the Bowls Club to be purchased when they resume playing. To read the full report, please click here
